BBC Radio Merseyside Interview

Listen to our interview on BBC Radio Merseyside

On 15th December, I had the privilege of joining Helen Jones on BBC Radio Merseyside, a particularly meaningful date as it marked my mum’s anniversary. We talked about the whirlwind journey the All Is Well Approach has been on, from Royal letters and the Animal Star Awards to being fully booked with a waiting list for Lola’s sessions by Christmas. It was a really lovely opportunity to talk about just how important and valuable animal assisted intervention can be in supporting children and young people, as well as the staff who support them every day.

Lola, meanwhile, took her role very seriously and has since decided she’s officially a celebrity after charming everyone in the BBC Radio studios.

She combines creative and play-based strategies with animal-assisted therapy alongside her therapy dog, Lola, to support children’s emotional wellbeing and learning.
